Paxil Warning Issued Due to Birth Defects

Paxil is a prescription drug that is used to treat various mood disorders such as depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD).  Paxil as an antidepressant drug is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI).  Paxil works by returning the balance of the neurotransmitter serotoninin that helps you get control of mood swings.
