Actos Bladder Cancer Lawsuit

June 2011,  the FDA issued an  Actos warning   notice to inform the public of bladder cancer side effects in diabetes patients caused by Actos.  The French and German government  has suspended all  sales of Actos due to the data showing the dangers of Actos and Bladder cancer.  In light of these events,  Actos Cancer Lawsuits are being reviewed nation wide for Actos users who have been diagnosed with bladder cancer.

Actos is manufactured by Takeda Pharmaceuticals and has been used by more than to more two million type-2 diabetes patients in 2010. Actos became a popular alternative to Avandia, which had been associated with an increased risk of strokes andf heat attacks in patients.

Actos Cancer Lawsuit Filed

An Actos Cancer Lawsuit was  filed  against Takeda Pharmaceuticals, manufacturer Actos® (pioglitazone),  was recently filed n the United States District Court for the Central District of California.  This Actos Lawsuit, one of the first filed against manufacturer of Actos by a pateint  who developed an aggressive form of bladder cancer after taking Actos® for over two years. the Acto Lawsuit Complaint,  alleges that Takeda failed to warn of the risks of bladder cancer and that if the pateient  had been made  aware of the dangers connected with the drug,  an alternative course of treatment would have been sought.   The Patient in this Actos Cancer Lawsuit is seeking monetary damages from Takeda.
